The plastic grips gives it a little bit of a inexpensive look. If it were more
than a single shot that would be good.
What others should know:Be careful this is a very powerful gun. Keep it clean and oiled it might
rust. Make sure you don't load the pellets backwards.

It only took a few clicks to get the sight perfect. I find the white dots to be a help , and not a distraction. I like the trigger as is. I found the pull to be perfect, and have no need / want to change it. It is however another thing to like about this pistol, you can adjust the trigger for over travel.
Things I would have changed:Put a silver or black muzzle for the front sight.
What others should know:This gun loves crosman Destroyer pellets. I'm a Beeman pellet kind of guy , but I must say the Crosman Destroyers go toe to toe with the higher end pellets / brands. On that note , nothing , and I mean nothing out shines the Beeman H&N pellets. They are the best pellets on the maket.
Seeing every shot is important , most of all when it comes to competition practice, and this awsum pistol , and Beeman H&N's are the perfect combo. They cut the Beeman 5 inch targets perfect. No trouble seeing / counting hits until this great pistol shoots out the center ring/s so your shooting hole in holes. I am very happy to say that I am getting 80-90 shots per co2. I can fire at 25-261/2 feet and have enough velocity to hit the target well up into the 65-70 shot range. I use the last 15-20 shots for cleaning pellets , and nailing some soda cans. I just can't / don't want to put the gun down. This pistol is worth every penny.

What others should know:I shot at 5" gamo targets at 22 feet the 1st , and 2nd time using this pistol. I used Beeman Silver Bears, and RWS Competetion pellets. I actually shot out the 3 center rings with this great pistol. Since there was a big differance with the number of shots listed per C02 , I decided to count out 60 pellets before I started practice. Not only did I use all 60 pellets , but got up to 80 shots + 5 cleaning pellets from one C02 cart. I finally made enough room to shoot at the offical 25 ' distance , and actually shot this pistol the 3rd & 4th time from 261/2 feet with decent results. I hit the Gamo 5" target 100% , but since I have not had gun training , and just started practicing @ 25-26 feet I placed about 60% in the outer rings and 40% in the center rings. I did better on the 2nd round at the longer distance , and noted that this gun loves Crosman Destroyer pellets. I shot Beeman Silver bears & Kodiaks with decent results , changed my target after 40-45 rounds , and used the Destroyers for the next 30-35 shots. I was very impressed that I placed a larger # of shots in the 3 center rings. If your well trained , or a self taught sharp shooter, I have no doubt that you will hit the center rings with this pistol EVERY TIME. I sure my results will improve even more with my new 2300T in hand , and 2-4 weeks of practice @ the longer 25-261/2 ' distance. I liked this pistol so much , I went to the Crosman site and custom built a .22 cal close to the style of this pistol.

What others should know:This is my 2nd review on this gun so I hope they post it. I wanted to give everyone an update since I fired my NEW 2300T for the 2nd time. Since there is a conflict as to the number of shots per co2 this is what I did. I counted out 60 pellets into the top of my tin. This time is used Beeman Silver Bears. I again fired at a 5" gamo target from 22' . I fired ALL 60 ROUNDS with GREAT RESULTS , and still had enought power to fire more rounds. I got 85 rounds from one co2 (5) of which were cleaning pellets. The pellets started to vier / shank only after 70 shots were fired. I placed all but 7 shots into the 21/2 " 7-8-9 / dead center rings , and did NOT miss the target once. This pistol is worth every penny.

Things I liked:This gun is well made , and handsome. I was nailing a Beeman 5 inch target from 22' WITH -OUT making any adjustments yet. I'm working toward making a offical 25 foot range in my basement because I want to hone my skills @ the offical 25' . I am impressed that I hit the target 100 % of the time .after tweaking the rear sight I was nailing the 7, 8 , and 9 rings several times. I have 8 various co2 pistols , and this is the first time EVER that I shot out the inside 2-3 " ring of a pistol target , using a brand new pistol for the first time no less!!! I have had no formal training , and continue to work on my breathing , and stance technique in hopes that I get good enough to join a team.
Things I would have changed:This is the first time that a Crosman fixed front sight bothers me. When I'm not firing the gun, it looks as though the barrel is twisted. I keep feeling concerned that it is , but yet I hit the target with every shot as I wrote above. This is my first competition pistol so it just may be the design throwing me off. I would like it if Crosman , or a Pyramyd Air Gun Smith put on the rear sight instead of having the owner do so. I'm concerned that I'm throwing off the balance , and accuracy by placing it where I think it should be , instead of knowing I have it just right. ONE BIG THING I would like , turn the volume up. This gun is way too quiet. It's a fantastic gun , but I want that loud bang when I pull that trigger. My Crosman .22cal pistol is rated 3 med, and is much louder then this pistol which is also rated 3 med loudness. I love hearing that loud pop , and wish this pistol had it.
What others should know:If you are a well trained , or very good self taught marksmen , you will no doubt hit the center ring with this fantastic pistol. I must have got the gold crowned 2300T because I got AT LEAST 60 shots out of my co2. I read other ratings , and people were saying 40 rounds. I kept shooting away , and thought WOW am I going to use 100 pellets before the power drops? I am very impresssed with this gun , and the number of rounds I got from a single co2. Just in case anybody wants to know , I used RWS Match pellets for my first full use of co2 on my brand new 2300T. I'm very happy with the results I received having had gone from box to firing / tweaking my first time out. Thanks for another fantastic Air gun Crosman.

Things I liked:Option of scope mounting. Crisp trigger.
Things I would have changed:Ability to lighten trigger pull into the ounces. Add a removable barrel weight.
What others should know:hard to get 60 accurate rounds off with one cylinder.
