Things I liked:Great gun... accuracy is top notch out to about 50 yards...assuming that you are sighted in at that distance... if you sight in at 25 yards there is significant drop when shooting at 50 yards...still tight groups but much lower point of impact. Great clean and simple walnut stock. Overall weight is very light... ends up being perfect with a midsize scope and mounts.
Things I would have changed:I added sling swivel studs, and stripped the sights off of the gun for a cleaner look with the 6X32mm Bug Buster II scope that I mounted.
What others should know:This is a great gun... you will get about 20-25 full power shots before the point of impact begins to droop... but if you plot the droop based on how much pressure the gun has left, you can get up to 50 accurate shots by holding a specific amount over the target. I recommend this gun highly... it is just fun to shoot. Mine is .22 caliber and used primarily for hunting grouse and hare.

Things I would have changed:As a take off on the Realtors saying of Location, Location, Location. I say about the Discovery changes needed Trigger, Trigger, Trigger.
What others should know:Clean the barrel good before shooting it. It has grease and crud in it like you wouldn't believe. Just take a few minutes to run a few patches down it before popping in the first pellet.

Things I liked:The power and number of shots you get for a 2000PSI fill is great!
This gun is light, so put a good scope on it, even if its heavy.

What others should know:I have an Air Arms S400 Xtra, pin point accuracy at 35 yards and 1/2" at 50 yards with a very light trigger pull, but the fill to 3000PSI is a workout with my Hill pump. On the other hand, out to 35 yards the Disco is close to matching the AA S400 for accuracy when you are shooting in the 1800 to 1500 PSI range on a fill.

Things I liked:I bought this air rifle for hunting in the fields, for squirells, and other small game. I bought this because it is very light weight, easy cocking without moving ur hands all around. I can cock this air rifle just using my index finger and thumb. I found that very usefull. And I liked the length, not to long. But i think the stock could have been polished off a little better. But then again you can only get so much for $293.
Things I would have changed:I do not like the trigger at all, It says it is a 2 stage but i could not find any two stages. And it is plastic. And I think they could have added another band to the barrel for less flex at the tip of the barrel. And the open sights are only accurate up to 10 yards. But still a great air rifle. (I am just a little picky) haha.
What others should know:If you are looking for a nice size, light weight air rifle you want to take out hunting for a day. This is what you are looking for. I have the RWS 350 magnum also, And I would say they both have about the same power, if not the Benjamin has a little more. I personally like the Benjamin over the RWS 350 because it is lighter weight, smaller, And easier cocking. And u get a good weekend full of air gun shooting with it filled all the way. Great Air rifle. And thank you Pyramid Air for your great assistance.

Things I liked:Extreme value for money, very accurate and powerful enough. Good woodwork with fine fit & finish. Very easy to pump due to low pressure valve. Havent tried Co2 but lots of shots using a divers tank. Excellent filingsystem (Foster) and very good plastic fillingcap to protect them
Things I would have changed:The triggerunit is plastic. It works decent but feels very cheap. The triggerhouse and triggerblade should be metal. The two-screw triggermod should be standard from factory. Same as the retrofit power-adjuster. Degasser should be included with every gun. The screws holding the valve visable from the outside of the tube shold be allentype for better looks.
What others should know:I have used about every PCP on the market during the last 10 years and owned several of them too. This Discovery is a very good rifle and outstanding in value for money.

I have tuned the trigger, improved the finish of the stock and replaced the plastic butt pad with a rubber one. It is no problem to pump the chamber to 2000 psi and the shots are very consistent. It is also nice to be able to switch to CO2 just for plinking.
Things I would have changed:I think Crosman has done an excellent job for a first try in the PCP department. There is very little I would change considering the price.
What others should know:Despite the fact that I got two faulty rifles, PyramydAir was extremely good at taking care of the problem. Unfortunately, I live in a crime-ridden state (Illinois) where our government feels that no one but criminals should possess any type of weapon including airguns that could inflict damage on another human being. Shipping new or repaired airguns is a real chore.

Things I liked:This is a nice PCP for the money. Fills easily, and holds air well. Trigger and bolt actions are smooth. Iron sights are easily adjustable, but it came pretty well sighted in any way. With a scope that will dial 3-9 power it can be a tack driver. I am currently using a 4 power scope, and am grouping about 1.5 in. at 60 yds

With a scope that will dial 3-9 power it can be a tack driver. I am currently using a 4 power scope, and am grouping about 1.5 in. at 60 yds. 22 hits hard, will blow thru 2 steel cans at 60 yds. This can easily be used as a very effective small game hunting rifle to about 50 yds. Larger stuff like groundhogs, opossum and raccoon should be easily taken with well placed shots. Walnut stock is a nice touch, nothing like the feel of real wood. Crosman/Benjamin will see huge sales in this I feel.
Things I would have changed:I would like to see a production brass/metal trigger. I am sure the modders will go crazy with this thing, so perhaps I will change more as performance mods are put forth.
What others should know:This gun is an excellent value for beginners in the sense that it provides good performance, yet the cost will help to offset other beginning costs associated with getting started. An excellent value for veterans, as the performance is exceptional for the cost, and will be improved upon with mods. Please take a safety course if you are just beginning to shoot. Take a child shooting, it is a wonderful bonding experience.

What others should know:I thought the plastic trigger cheapen the looks on this gun and will wears out soon. But after using it for a while, I actually like the feel of it. Hope this is made of high grade plastic, then it should last.

Things I liked:I like the light weight, the easy fill, the way it shoulders, and the eye relief is perfect for me with the 4-16x50 leapers, (get the high two piece mounts so you have room to put the pellets in, also choose long pointed pellets because the short ones are much harder to get in the right position. rws super point are best so far). I like the looks, the walnut stock is nice, but mine is a little unfinished, I'm going to add some wax finish. I like not having to release a safety each time I shoot. I am getting about 30 shots of real power, my 2x6 test shows the pellets coming out the back after 25 shots on the same 3/4" dot @ 60' indoors, (did I mention great accuracy?) I find no flyers like my springers have every 10 shots or so. But this is with heavy pellets like barrucuda match or rws super or beeman crow mags etc. the hobbies are hard to load and fly off now and then.
After the first 30 shots on a fill you have to start aiming high if you want to keep shooting instead of filling. (you can still kill a starling @ 25 yds. up to 40 shots.) Again, the light weight allows me to hold steady without a rest, so this is by far my favorite hunting rifle. I can get shot off quicker than my springers, (if i am loading a pointed pellet.) It is not as loud as I feared, I can still shoot it in my pool room without the family yelling too much. It is about as loud as a .22 short cartridge, shot in a long barrel rifle, and the power seems similar up to 30 yards.
Things I would have changed:Mine came with the screw that holds the stock to the barrel stripped, so the stock was loose. Pyramyd is going to change it for me, but I am not going to ship it back until I get the second one I ordered, because I love it too much to give it up. (I just took a thin rubber glove and wrapped it around the barrel and stock and then wrapped plastic tape on top and stretched it tight, looks like crap, but works fine.)
I would like a power adjuster so I could tune it down for indoor shooting. I would like the gauge to be larger so my old eyes could see it with out changing from my shooting glasses. I would have like it if they had the pump combo out first, so I did not have to wait or buy the scuba tanks. But now that I have them I don't need the pump.
What others should know:I got two scuba tanks for $150 each at the local "Rouge Scuba" store. and they filled them for free the first time, $5 there after. I have got over 1,000 shots on the first tank and still filling up real quick. I have heard not to over fill, and it is very easy to do with the tanks, just barely crack the tank open, and watch the gauge. I have gone into the edge of the yellow and it is fine. I don't want to have to buy the degassing tool, to let out too much air pressure.
